Have we strayed... Really..!!??!!

Hello all. So green tea today made me think about the technology, civilizations.. yes all the history... So it came to my mind, we as a human... What was our purpose in life?  Was there ever a purpose in life? 

If we follow western theories then we have developed by evolution into modern homo sapiens. But being an Indian Hindu, now I wonder, have we? Our religious books depict humans, and very modern super humans with technology, airtravel, time travel, inter galactic travel, medicine, surgery, and what not. But then why and where have we forgotten all that?

Watching travel shows on tv and mobile, I wonder all people are same. Everyone eats, drinks, studies, earns, works, prays... All of us are same. 

But where did this hierarchy come from. The quest for higher standards, perfection in all aspects of life. Why cannot and should not we be... just..BE. Enjoy all the gifts dear God has bestowed upon us. Marvel at all the tiniest of the wonders of the nature. Why does it have to be a race.

 A cloth is to cover the body but who decided it is better if it is costliest, it's superior to travel abroad for vacations, it's superior to have bigger car, bigger house.. 
Should we not strive for basic needs only. And enjoy and love each other, everyone doing their own duties and enjoying the evening times as a gift of God. Will there ever be a heavenly home, city, state , nation and eventually a great big civilization of all of us on this earth... 

Well dinner calls.. gotta go.. you enjoy and have tea... Green tea!!!

Holi... The word reminds me of filling water balloons ... The colour... And running hard to avoid those very water balloons...  My first wrist watch was a prize my dad won in musical chair at his company's Holi party. I was so ecstatic... For a little girl of standard first, wearing a wrist watch to school was a huge bragging point. My brother still feels cheated that I got the watch at such a young time, when they got their watches in 5th class. Well each generation enjoys certain privileges. The toddlers are enjoying nursery rhymes on I-pads these days, could we even think about it then?  Oh back to holi. Personally I attach holi to start of summers, which is a bit sad for a winter loving person like me. But I love the colours , yellow, red ,green, violet, blue,... ink, cow dung, mud.... बिन कहानी की कविता

आज बैठी मैं लिखने कुछ समझ ना आया क्या हुआ, एक भी खयाल ना आया ज़ेहन में  अरे ख़त्म हुआ writco का सफर क्या? सोचा लिखूं एक कहानी  कुछ नई सी या कुछ पुरानी डरावनी सी रात की कहानी लिखुं या बच्चों की प्यारी वाणी लिखुं  कहानी तो लंबी होगी लिखते लिखते थक ना जाऊं आंखों को भी ध्यान लगाऊं...  फिर सोचा एक कविता लिखी जाए क्या करें जब शीर्षक ही न सुझाए हास्य प्रेम या रहस्य, कौन सा रस, दिमाग बोला  आज नहीं आज मेरी बस हिंदी में qoute बनाऊं ऐसा सोचा आज दिमाग में पक्का है कोइ लोचा खिड़की के बाहर का पेड़ मुझपे है हस्ता बंद कर ले आज का बोरिया बस्ता रविवार है आराम कर जरा सा चाय पी पकोड़े खा बाहर निकल पवन का ले मजा रविवार की शाम घर में,  है सजा अरे, प्रिय पाठक, मेरे यहां ठंडी है मस्त  बैंगलोर आई हूं, बारिश हो रही जबरदस्त शिमला मनाली से ज़्यादा ठंडक  एक दिन मज़े कर क्यों नहीं मानता ऐसे में सोचा कॉफी और केक खाया जाए जाऊं बाज़ार यह सब लाया जाए अरे यह क्या, कविता तो फिर भी बन गई पसंद आई तो बताइएगा इनाम में चाय पकोड़े कॉफी केक पायिएगा... © cmcb

Papa's birthday but no papa...

Each February when the quite a huge portion of the modern civilization gets busy with the now famous week to celebrate love... My heart goes into a different realm... I start missing my papa even more in anticipation of his birth date on the 16th February...  Fathers are the base, strength and support to the family. A person remains a child, a carefree happy child , even if he is into his 60s, if his father is alive. But the day we lose our father,  we grow up. At the death of one's fathers, Life takes a whole new meaning. It becomes your biggest adversary. You feel a vaccume inside. You try to search , seek , fill this vaccum but alas, God has his ways. This is one position no one can take in one's life.   And then comes the moment of truth.
